Aanestad Service is very committed to HSE. No one should get hurt in our company. We know that it is primarily the culture our employees carry with them that sets the guidelines for what they do and how they work. We want our employees to be ambassadors for a thoroughly excellent safety culture and that they never do anything that compromises safety. Taking shortcuts is forbidden!

Despite being a small company, we have employed an HSE advisor who is at the forefront and keeps us up to date on HSE in the industry. We arrange all-day meetings for all employees and the management of the company leads by example – all to maintain the goal of 0 injuries.

We ensure that our employees are equipped with the best protective equipment available and talk about HSE every day, just as naturally as we discuss our way to the best technical solutions for our customers.

Yes – we have systems and procedures like everyone else, but no more than we have to. The most important thing is what goes on in the heads of us at Aanestad Service and our partners. We will represent the best of HSE and hope that we will get the chance to show it.

Stangeland Maskin AS was established in 1959 and has worked its way up from agricultural contractors, via assignments for the oil industry to become one of the country's largest construction and civil engineering companies. Stangeland Maskin is active in establishing infrastructure in connection with housing and commercial buildings/fields. They have major projects such as road construction, railways, port construction, airports, water/facilities, broadband/gas/electricity district heating. Stangeland Maskin carries out mobile crushing throughout Southern Norway. Production is approximately 900,000 tons of gravel and crushed stone annually. Mibau Stema (formerly Norsk Stein) is one of the country's leading producers of crushed stone and stone materials, producing at four locations in Norway: Jelsa, Tau and Dirdal in Rogaland, and at Larvik in Vestfold. The facility at Jelsa is the largest quarry in Europe with an annual production of 10 million tonnes. The quarry was established in 1987, and as of 2018 is wholly owned by the German company Mibau-Stema. The production process starts with blasting rock in an open pit, followed by coarse crushing, fine crushing and other processing. Aanestad Service has supplied conveyors and conveyor belts to the facilities for many years and is responsible for much of the maintenance the belts require.
