The production process.
Ulma produces "standard" and "special" rollers in all dimensions for ALL purposes. ULMA has high demands on the choice of materials and to achieve the best result, ground shafts and calibrated tube blanks are used for the production of ULMA rollers.
Experience since 1958, combined with high competence and computer-controlled machinery, is the key to the efficiency and accuracy of the production lines. The capacity at the factory is a production of approximately 2000 rolls per day.

The quality roll.
ULMA tests the rollers in its own laboratory for, among other things, energy consumption during operation. Creating a roller that requires the least possible energy to roll around plays a significant role in electricity costs in all facilities.
The rollers are also tested for noise emissions and imbalance. Noise and imbalance are often linked. With stricter environmental requirements worldwide, these are some of the points that ULMA has paid a lot of attention to and is under a continuous improvement process.
General requirements for a roller are that they must be resistant to dust and water penetration through the seals into the ball bearing. The rollers from ULMA are resistant to external influences, tested under water and with extreme external influences of phosphate dust. The ULMA roller has the patented MDA seal which makes the roller completely dust- and water-tight.
Ulma products are used in all types of industries worldwide such as:
